In the photo: Earthquake Rock Myanmar and Thailand

According to the Myanmar military government, a strong earthquake occurred near Mandalay, Myanmar’s second largest city, which destroyed or collapsed bridges and buildings in a group of people in Southeast Asia, killing nearly 150 people and killing more than 700 others.

The 7.7-magnitude earthquake hit before 1 pm local time, followed by a 6.4-fold aftershock 11 minutes later. In southern China and Vietnam and from Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, where a 30-storey skyscraper under construction collapsed, killing at least three people.

Details of casualties and damages in Myanmar are not immediately clear. In Bangkok, traffic was in stagnant due to fear of aftershocks, and video captured water gushing out of rooftop pools of hotels and residential towers.
