The marathon is Sunday. Which roads and highway ramps will be closed?

More than 25,000 people will be on the road in the 40th race of the Los Angeles Marathon on Sunday, which has made racing fans happy and the frustration of the drivers traveling through the area.
The marathon starts at 7 a.m. at Dodger Stadium and ends in Century City.
Runners will head northwest to Los Feliz, then west to West Hollywood and Southwest, cross Beverly Hills toward Brentwood, where they will turn around and eventually push to the finish line at Santa Monica Boulevard and Avenue.
Los Angeles drivers should expect their route to change. According to event organizers, closures of rolling roads and highway ramps began as early as 3 a.m. Those closest to the starting line will reopen at 9 a.m., most streets will reopen by 1 p.m., and the last barricade near the finish line will be lifted at 8 p.m.
The first closure of the day included several ramps on the North and Southbound Highway 101 between Temple Street and Hollywood Avenue, and several ramps on the North and Southbound Highway 110 between Hill Street and Sunset Avenue. Everyone is expected to reopen by noon.
On Southbound Highway 405, the Wilshire Avenue exit will be closed in both directions from 4:45 a.m. to 3 p.m.
