Police are still looking for drivers who allegedly crashed into a group of cyclists Immigration red card Pedestrians in Boyle Heights last month before escaping the scene.

Resendiz and his friends plan to ride a bike from Mariachi Plaza to the Atlantic Avenue on Cesar Chavez Avenue and then head to Whittier Boulevard to Mariachi Plaza. The group stopped about five stops and distributed red cards to street vendors. A red card, also known as the “Know Your Rights” card, contains information about a person’s rights if they encounter a federal immigration agent.
The incident happened three miles, he said.
A LAPD spokesperson told The Boyle Heights. Surveillance video shows the car slowing down and knocking down a biker.
“The light in this neighborhood is not good, but we all have the lights on and ride in the right lane, and we legally allow us to ride and ride along the entire lane,” Resendiz said. “I was the only one who tried to stop the vehicle and throw my bike underneath and she had run over, which gave us enough time for the people behind to grab the plate.”
Resendiz said three women were hit by a car and a man, Irvin Flores, was taken to the hospital with a laceration in his head. One victim, Nancy Lopez, told Fox 11 Her impact damaged one of the driver’s rearview mirrors and created dents on the car.
Police said the car is believed to be a 2016 Kia sedan with a plate number of 8GAN606.
