He explained: “I’m dating a girl named Tammy. [my brother] Jay brings Debbie out. We had a double date with Elton John Concert. I vividly remember when Elton sat on the piano and sang “Your Song”. I looked at my brother’s date and said to myself, “I think I’ll marry that girl one day.” I did it. ”

Donny Osmond added his own version of AI to live in Las Vegas as a teenager

The singer will play his classic song “Puppy Love” with his 14-year-old self’s AI hologram on stage.

“I’ve always had this idea. Since I was a teenager, I think this technology will happen one day,” he said.

Osmond teamed up with Zerospace, the same man behind Robert Zemeckis’s film There, starring Tom Hanks, the ruling age, to create a replica of his own teenage years.

Osmond’s grandson Daxton also provided the basic model of the performance, and then the singer’s face, body and voice remade “Puppy Love” through AI – Osmond of the Times.

Donny Osmond looks back at his “lonely” teen idol era: “This business can swallow you”

“It’s hard to start from the beginning. But it’s about getting it right without any artifacts or similar items. It’s very difficult. With the sound, not just the face, make it as real as possible.”

When Osmond saw the final product, he was really surprised.

“Can you imagine how I feel? You know, looking at myself every night? 53 years ago. It’s incredible. Actually, that’s exactly what my grandson said. He saw it for the first time last week and then he looked at me as grandpa in the backstage. It’s incredible. He looked at himself, but it’s looking at himself, but it’s grandson.”

Daxton has followed in the footsteps of his famous grandfather and participated in the musical, making him naturally fit the role.

Donny Osmond says “reshaping” is key to his long-term success in Hollywood

“He has the presence of the stage. So he is the perfect candidate for it. Not only age, but also the presence of the stage. We have a cute little bond. I call him D14. That’s his nickname.”

But Osmond won’t advise young performers.

“I’m not a father. I’ll let [my son] Brandon, his father, did so. But he nailed it. ”

He continued, “I mean, he would rehearse at home. Brandon told me that he said he would rehearse the lines at home and everything. When we arrived at the studio, he was ready. It was all rehearsed. He made everything remember. Very professional. And, when I just needed to be here and that camera, I had to give him a few little things, he was ready, he had himself ready.

As a veteran of the show business, Osmond himself has received his own advice, usually from some famous names like Elvis Presley and the Mouse Pack members.

“Sammy Davis Jr. gave me some advice when I was a little boy because he said, ‘Do you feel nervous when you get on stage?’ I think I might say, ‘Never stop being nervous, I think it’s a very strange thing.

Osmond added: “So, you know, I’m not nervous on stage, but they’re butterflies because you want to do your best, because every audience is a little different, and every show I’ve played in Las Vegas is slightly different because I call it the request part, I call it the 20 minutes, and I can record any song from my 65 albums, and I’ve been recording it all the time.

Osmond has his own advice for anyone who wants to become an entertainer.

Donny Osmond says he “can” struggle with Justin Bieber’s reputation, lonely kids struggle

“One thing I always tell them is not to be afraid of work because to keep it relevant…you can have fun on the stage, but sit in front of the mirror and work hard. Just look at others, others see you, don’t believe in your own hype. You know, when the curtains are closed, you’re just a normal normal person. Go back to Earth.” Go back to Earth. ”

Since the beginning, even though he has made a difficult transition between teen idols and mature performers, the work ethic has remained “too young” in the game.

He recalled “all kinds of crazy things” and suggested that he get rid of his image and get people’s attention, good and bad.

“But I think I’m just doing this with my music, not trying to create headlines,” he said. “A lot of people just want to create headlines because they’re becoming popular, [they] Get liked, just popular. But I don’t think this is sustained because it’s not based on talent. This is a difficult approach because you’d love to get those drastic headlines.

Donny Osmond never said the curse in his life: “I would love to say certain words”

“But I rejected a lot of things that would shock people. But I don’t like that. I just want people to come to my show and just say I’m entertaining.”

Osmond said he was given an inappropriate role.

“Just look at yourself, just like everyone else sees you, don’t believe in your own hype.”

He said: “I think, no, not me. I’d rather be real, that’s my way because I think authenticity will win in the end. But I’d rather be called an entertainer than a welcome person, a personality.”

Las Vegas’ midstream platform maintains its reputation as an entertainment event and says he will continue to find new audiences through social media.

He explained that the biggest change he has seen in the industry since he started is that “bars have been improved a lot.”

“With that bar, the audience’s expectations get so much. That’s why I add [AI element]I think, because, I think, a few years ago, you were just standing there for concerts and that would be fine. But now, the audience’s attention is GNAT’s attention. Oh, I love it. OK What is next and what is next? So you keep having to keep reinventing yourself, I don’t mind because I love producing and creating and similar things. Stay innovative. ”

“They want an experience, not just a show,” he continued. “With that experience, they want authenticity. They want to walk away and say it’s more important than the price of admission. It’s my philosophy in the performance business, and I want the audience to say it’s more than what I’ve been hearing all the time, and I’ve heard all the time. People say, ‘I don’t know what to expect in the Donny Osmond Show, but I don’t expect it.”
