Maximum streaming password crackdown: $8 additional membership fee starts

Warner Bros. Discovery announced Tuesday that it has proposed additional membership fees in the U.S. for its largest streaming service. Subscribers who choose to share their streaming accounts can pay $8 per month, but they can only add one person. Additional users can be added to any price plan you subscribe to (with or without ads), but the feature does not include the largest subscribers for the bundle.

Like Netflix and Disney Plus, additional membership fees are optional. It allows the primary account holder to pay for it and invites someone to create an account based on their subscription. Additional users will get separate login credentials and if you already share a subscription, you can transfer your adult profile from your existing account to your new account. Additional users can only stream on one device under their single profile and must reside in the same country (in this case, the United States).

Considered as an add-on, the fee option can be found under your subscription settings.
