When Democratic Sen. Chris Van Hollen traveled to El Salvador to visit the deported illegal foreigner, a grieving mother said Maryland lawmakers never contacted her after the illegal immigrant murdered her daughter.

Rachel Morin’s mother, Patty Morin, opposed Van Hollen’s visit and grilled Maryland Senator for going to El Salvador to “advocate criminals” rather than advocate for “victims of terror, cruel crimes, including his daughter.”

“It’s just showing his character. You know what a person says, and through his actions or lack of action.” Patty Morin said on “Ingraham Angle” Friday.

Although it has been more than a year since Rachel Morin’s murder, her mother claims she has no “no interaction” with Van Hollen. She is still willing to answer calls from the Maryland Senator.

“I’ll be kind and answer the phone. I don’t know it’s going to make a difference,” Patty Morin told Fox News contributor Raymond Arroyo. “I think if he does try to make the phone, it’s a political stunt, saying he did.”

Trump’s name is Sen. Van Hollen meets with MS-13 suspects who were deported from El Salvador

Van Hollen made the following statement on Tuesday regarding the conviction of Rachel Morin killer:

While belief in Rachel Morin’s killer won’t return Rachel to her deserved family, the judgment brings the justice they deserve. I thank the killer detainers of law enforcement officers and provide justice for our legal process and our legal process. As I have said in the past, the American people should also act for our public safety and improve our public safety and improve public safety and improve public affairs and improve it. Support our immigrant community and respect the rights of individuals who are legal here – I am committed to both of these things and I will continue to put pressure on my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to continue this issue. ”

Van Hollen Flying to El Salvador this week to meet with expelled illegal alien Kilma Abrego Garcia, whose request was finally approved on Thursday.

“I said the main goal of this trip was to meet Kilma,” Van Hollen said in a post on X (formerly Twitter). “I had a chance tonight. I called his wife, Jennifer, to convey his love message. I look forward to providing a full update upon returning.”

Garcia is an illegal immigrant, 29, who lives in Maryland, and was deported to the El Salvador giant’s “Center for Terrorism Incarceration” (CECOT) in March.

Officials acknowledged in court that his deportation was an administrative error, although some Trump officials now say he has been properly removed and argued that he is a member of the infamous MS-13 gang.

Both the Federal District Court and the U.S. Supreme Court ordered the Trump administration to “promote” his release and return to the United States for proper deportation proceedings.

New documents from the Trump administration also reveal allegations of domestic violence against Garcia.

His wife Jennifer Vasquez Sura on Wednesday statement Resolve allegations of domestic violence:

“After the domestic violence that survived my previous relationship, I went to seek a civil protection order for a disagreement after my disagreement with Kilmar, just in case things escalate. Nothing escalates. I decided not to follow the civil court process. We were able to work privately in the family, including consultation.”

Patty Morin criticized Van Hollen for using her “taxpayer money to fly to El Salvador to advocate criminals.”

She continued: “The criminal, like he is illegal here, so he has violated federal law on illegality in the country.”

Van Hollen’s office did not respond to a request for Fox News Digital to comment at the release time. It hasn’t answered whether Van Hollen called Patty Morin or clarified who funded the Senator’s trip to El Salvador.

Greg Wehner, Alexa Moutevelis and Alexander Hall of Fox News Digital contributed to the report.
