“Severance Payment” Season 2 Finale: Everyone in Cursed Cold Harbor Painting

If Lumon is more than just torture employees, it is a creepy painting.
Who can forget “Kier Pardons His Betrayer”, a blood-red picture that greets the returnee MDR Innies in the season 2 premiere? Or is it the extremely violent “optical and design savage” of the back of Season 1?
Everyone is disturbing and a key part of Lumon’s propaganda machine. But in the finale of Season 2, lay off A new fearsome painting is introduced, blowing those out of the water: “The lofty victory of the Cold Harbor.”
The work commemorates Mark’s upcoming Cold Harbor, placing him and his computer in the center of the scourge of hollow pools. Given the critical role that the position plays a role in Kier Eagan Canon, the portrayal of Mark in Woe Hollow emphasizes the importance of his work on Cold Harbour to Lumon. In addition, the cold waters evoke the name “Cold Harbor”, adding an extra layer to the meaning of the painting.
But Mark is here in a state of revelation, lifted manually, as if delivering the final keystroke on the archives – not alone. He is surrounded by a group of people who guide him to this moment (some more than others), making a summary of “The noble victory of Cold Harbor” lay offensemble.
This is everyone lay off“The lofty victory of Cold Port”.

The group on the left side of the painting are mainly those who cause Lumon’s trouble or participate in the company’s crisis. Like Mark’s MDR team, it makes sense to include members of some, while the presence of others, such as Devin (Jen Tullock) and Ricken (Michael Chernus), seems even more confusing. Why did Lumon put Filomong employees in this historic painting? Or a corporate enemy like Harmony Cobel (Patricia Arquette), so? Let’s break it down.
MDR Innies: Irving (John Turturro), Helly (Britt Lower), Dylan (Zach Cherry) and Petey (Yul Vazquez)
Just as the racist “inclusive reign” Kiel painting Lumon presented Mr. Millchik (Tramer Tillman), “The Lifting Victory of Cold Harbor” seemed like (misunderstood) celebrating Mark’s attempt, like doing a Lumony propaganda. You can’t celebrate Mark without including the MDR team.
Of course, they all had moments of rebellion in Lumon, from triggering an overtime surprise to Irving’s attempt to flood Helena and Petey with reintegration. But if Lumon wants Mark to see the painting as an encouragement to complete Cold Harbor and seize his place in Lumon’s history – it’s not his atmosphere! – Then it’s no trouble to keep his team with him. Also, from Mark’s point of view, the MDR team is right-handed when they are on the left side of the drawing. They are his right-hand team! Even if the painting itself is weird, how sweet.
Optics and Design: Burt (Christopher Walken), Felicia (Claudia Robinson) and Elizabeth (Rachel Addington)
MDR is not the only department that has gained some love in the “Cold Harbor Sublime Victory”. O&D is also celebrated, even though they are having trouble with Lumon’s interdepartmental mixing indoors. But, as O&D curated the painting of the cut floor, who would stop them from including themselves?
Harmony Cobel (Patricia Arquette)
The inclusion of Cobel in this painting is confusing. On the one hand, she was the head of the cut floor almost all her time, and She invented the severance payment, so she should definitely be remembered. On the other hand, she is now an enemy of Lumon, Mr. Milchick noted that the company stayed away from her in the season 2 premiere. (Remember the “throuple” moment? It’s easier.) So the props I wanted to provide Lumon with was to give Cobel some credibility, rather than editing her into history.
Mark’s family: Jen Tullock and Ricken (Michael Chernus)
“The Lofty Victory of Cold Harbor” is a few who never stepped on the cut floor, starting with Mark’s sister Devon holding baby Eleanor and Mark’s brother-in-law Ricken. Innie Mark did meet them in overtime, so these are no strangers. Also, Rickon’s book You are you Mark’s journey of self-discovery in Season 1 proved so useful that Lumon recruited Ricken to write (re-edited) versions for other Innies.
The most fascinating element of Ricken and Devon’s role in painting is Devon’s body language. She was the only person in the crowd turned away and she looked at him suspiciously. Given her real life of Mark’s character in Lumon, her attitude in painting makes sense, but it also means Lumon’s sight makes her her sight. How dangerous is she?
The top story of chaos
Ricken’s partners: Balf (Rajat Suresh), Denise (Anne McNamara), Parton (Donald Webber) and Rebec (Grace Rex)
Behind the Leftand crowd, you can tell more of Lumon-related characters: Ricken’s assistant Balf, and his dinner-free dinner parties Danise, Patton and Rebeck. Innie Mark meets everyone during Ricken’s reading during overtime, so their inclusion here may be even more encouraging to Mark – even his most rebellious moments and unauthorized encounters bring him to Cold Harbor.
Of course, Lumon is Lumon, and these four really have little connection with the company. However, since we haven’t seen a party outside of them, I doubt that. This does not mean that they should not be remembered in the art equivalent.lay offThe greatest hit song, “But!
Collateral damage: Mark W. (Bob Balaban), Gwendolyn Y. (Alia Shawkat) and Dario R. (Stefano Carannante)

On the right side of the painting: Lumon Loyalists

While the left side of the painting is a trash of outsiders and rebellious Lumon staff, the right side of the “Cold Harbor Sublime Victory” includes characters that tend to be the biggest allegiance to Lumon, or just not as many swing boats.
Ms. Casey (Dichen Lachman)
We haven’t seen much health director Ms. Casey lay off Season 2, but she does take a place in the “Cold Harbour’s Sublime Victory” next to Mark. From Lumon, this approach – that kind of proposition – that she is actually Mark’s wife Gemma – feels very cruel.
MDR Team: Mr. Milchick and Miss Huang (Sarah Bock)
Mr. Milchick and Wintertide’s companions may have had a fight in the second half of season 2, but they appear side by side here. Miss Huang even brought her trustworthy Theremin. She just wants to play!
Natalie Kalen (Sydney Cole Alexander)
Board liaison Natalie popped up on the side of the crowd. Although there is no board spokesperson. I guess the board of directors Accustomed to Join us for this painting.
Doug Granner (Michael Cumpsty)
Reghabi (Karen Aldridge) may have killed Doug Graner’s security chief in Season 1, but at least he was commemorated in “The Lofty Victory of Cold Harbor.”
Mammal breeding: Lorne (Gwendoline Christie), Wyatt (Brian Rock) and The Goat Man (Jared Johnston)
Mammals can be raised, aka goats, add MDR and O&D to add this horrible streamer. Here is the department head Lorne; Wyatt, the first goat wrangler, Helly, and Mark met in Season 1. And the goat man, who was honored to wear a huge goat costume. Although MN did not cause chaos in Lumon before the Season 2 finale, I bet Lorne and Mr. Drummond (Ólafur Darriólafsson) abandoned it, potentially endangering their department (and their chance to make paintings in the near future).
Four tempers: disaster, fear, malice and play
Kier Eagan’s four tempers showed that as Mark completed the refining port. Kober confirmed that the refining process meant building a new Innie for Gemma, thus making their inclusiveness here even more meaningful. (There is also a non-zero opportunity, probably the dancer of the waffle parties.)
MDR Shadow Innies
To the right of the painting is the strange shadowy self introduced in “Bad Hollow.” Do we know their deal? Absolutely not, but enough to get them to participate in this painting!
Top of the Painting: Lumon’s CEO, Past, Present and Future

Grant the scene from the top of a bad hollow waterfall – is the highest famous in the world! – It’s the nine Eagles, and we met some of them on the show, many of whom are only considered statues of permanent wings.
As CEO to be greeted, Helena Eagan stood in the center of Tableau, flanked by her father, Jame (Michael Siberry) and Lumon founder Kier (Marc Geller). From left to right, the rest of the Eagan lineup ended: Ambrose, Myrtle, Phillip, Leonora, Baird and Gerhardt. They were all looking at Lumon’s future Helena, while she looked forward, looking toward the cold port world.
Well, it’s too bad for Lumon, Mark derails the entire project by helping Gemma escape! That’s why you call the lens too early and paint in advance.
