Screen size: OLEDS has a size ranging from 40-inch to 97-inch, and there may be a bigger TV in the future. One of the best advice we can offer is always buy a bigger TV than you think if you can afford it. While it’s 65 inches at the moment, the TV will get bigger and bigger year by year, and you might consider buying 77 inches to prevent an upgrade in the near future. But if you are buying a bedroom or game room, you can check out a TV of around 55 inches.

Consider older models: At the affordable end of OLED, the annual model update isn’t as eye-catching as the flagship. For example, for TVs like the LG B4 or even the C4, it makes sense to compare prices for last year’s models and get the cheapest price. Meanwhile, the 2025 model is just starting to appear in stores, so you should expect to see prices start to drop in 2024, too.

HDR format: While not entirely necessary, compatibility with Dolby Vision is a plus. Of course, Samsung doesn’t support the Dolby format, but offers its own version called HDR10 Plus, and this version is becoming increasingly popular. Ultimately, almost every 4K TV supports HDR 10, which would be great.

gamble: If you are a gamer, the feature with game enhancements is a bonus, which includes dedicated game modes (for turning off processing and reducing lag), support at 120Hz or higher, even gaming apps, and even gaming apps like Xbox Game Pass, Amazon Luna, and Steam Link.

operating system: With the launch of Philips Roku TVs, most types of smart TV interfaces are now available for purchase on OLED TVs. Whether it’s Google TV, Roku or one of the manufacturer-specific systems that chooses a popular smart TV interface, you can choose apps and on-demand content.
