Authorities say she died and her mother was detained after driving drunk and hitting a tree while driving and two children died and her mother was detained.
Yesica Barajas was arrested on Sunday for suspected drunkenness after her car crashed on Highway 29 in Napa, according to a KGO report, according to a news station.
Kron4 reported that her children, Aaliyah Montanez, 9, and Damien Montanez, 10, were killed in the crash.
Barajas, 31, was booked on Monday night on suspicion of two counts of manslaughter of vehicles and booked on Monday night, prison records show.
“Damian and Aaliyah are sweet, loving, full of children of life who will be missed a lot,” a family friend wrote on the Gofundme page. “They touched everyone they met.”
