Submarine house announced new location
Submarine homes are expanding and adding new locations to the Miami Valley.

The owners announced that they opened a new location in Piqua this spring.

“We are delighted to bring the submarine house to Piqua,” said Brody Danner, co-owner of Piqua submarine residence.
Submarine house is in the former location of the Referee Sports Bar at 311 Ave.
“The Piqua community welcomes us with open arms,” said Kelsey Mears, vice president of operations and co-owner of Piqua submarine houses. “We are eager to create a space where sports fans, family and friends can taste food and drinks together while enjoying everything the city has to offer.”
The space will be renovated inside and outside. It will also have an outdoor terrace.
The new location will be within the outdoor refreshment area (Dora) designated by Piqua, just two blocks from Lock 9 Park and Treviño Performance Pavilion.
Chris Schmiesing, director of economic development at Piquar City, said the addition of submarines would be “an important addition to our community.”
Submarine houses have several locations in the Miami Valley. This will mark a second location in Miami County.
The current plan is to open new locations this spring. An exact opening date has not been announced yet.
