As the July 4 deadline approaches, Republicans push forward the major Trump bill

Senate Republicans have rammed President Donald Trump’s “big and beautiful bill” through procedural obstacles amid hours of intense negotiations, bringing big fate to doubt.

However, changes were made at the last minute to make it either hold or comply with Senate rules. Indeed, Senate members have stripped many bills from the bill that must be redesigned.

Medicaid providers’ tax rates remain largely the same, except that their implementation date has been shifted for a year. Also included are Susan Collins, R-Maine, Josh Hawley, R-Mo. and others are $25 billion in rural hospital stability funds over the next five years.

Other sweeteners, such as the expansion of nutritional benefits exemptions to Alaska and tax cuts for whaling fleet captains, were also thrown in to get moderates like Senator Lisa Murkowski of R-Alaska to use with the bill.

Lee announced that he had withdrawn his public sales rules, which proved the key point for Montana and Idaho lawmakers.

Nevertheless, when lawmakers can offer unlimited number of amendments, Republicans who are unhappy with the current state of the bill will still use the upcoming “vote” to try to change as much as possible before they finally pass.

But Democrats will use the process to bring as much pain as possible to Republicans.

Once the marathon amendment comes to a conclusion, it may be that in the early hours of Monday morning, lawmakers will make the final vote to send the bill, which is the House Republican version of the “Big and Beautiful Bill” amendment, back to the lower room.

From there, putting the package on the president’s table by July 4 is a dead sprint.

Trump said in an executive policy statement obtained by Fox News Digital Digital that he would sign the bill.

“President Trump is committed to keeping his promise,” the memo read. “And the failure to pass this bill would be the ultimate betrayal.”
