Lenovo’s latest laptop concept has a screen that can be flipped and folded

Also interesting is the Smart LifePad trackpad, which has a three-layer lighting dashboard—you can cycle through these layers to access specific keys. For example, one layer is a numeric key and the other is a media control.

The entire machine is 16.9 inches thick, slightly more than the MacBook Pro. Sadly, Lenovo doesn’t say whether to consider turning the concept into reality, although it does say the model is powered by Intel’s Core Ultra 7 chip specifically for 32 GB of RAM.

Yoga Solar PC

If your laptop tends to sit on a desk when not in use, you might appreciate Lenovo’s next concept – a yoga solar PC. It has solar panels embedded in the lid, which Lenovo says provides more than 24% solar conversion, claiming is better than the industry average. With EnergySage reporting current average of 21.4%, this seems to track this.

This means that when the yoga solar is sitting on a table, it can juice itself without wires. It can be charged in ambient lighting, although you will get better results in natural light. Lenovo said its “rear contact battery” technology moves the mounting bracket and grid lines of the solar panel to the back, thus maximizing light absorption. This is also paired with a dynamic solar tracking system, which is said to measure current and voltage of solar panels to prioritize sending solar energy to the system. Twenty minutes in the sun, you can play up to an hour of video playback for you, and even generate some power in low light, which can maintain the battery while the PC is idle.

This isn’t the world’s first solar-powered laptop (the Samsung NC215 in 2011), but because Lenovo’s yoga solar-powered solar power is thin, the company will continue to move forward, calling it “the world’s first super-solar computer.”

Magic Bay

Finally, we arrived at Lenovo Accessories concept. These accessories utilize the company’s modular Magic Bay ecosystem, which is currently on the Conceived Books laptop. Currently, you can attach various accessories such as a webcam or 4G hotspot to Magic Bay located at the top of the center of the laptop cover.
