100,000 mattresses sold on Amazon were recalled due to fire risk. This is what you should know
If you have purchased a mattress from Amazon in the past few years, you will need to check the label. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CSPC), there are approximately 100,000 crayan mattresses due to the risk of flammability as of June 18, 2025.
What products are being recalled?
Recalls 10-inch and 12-inch beds (double, full, queen and king sizes) involving Crayan Mattress, for sale on Amazon from June 2022 to June 2024. The beds are single sided with white braided stitched tops and grey side panels. The brand name “Crayan” is sewn in the forefoot panel with white letters.
Foshanshi Liyue Jiju Youxian Gongsi, a retailer of Crayan mattresses, DBA Crayan Inc., is headquartered in China. Its mattress is made in Japan and compressed in the box. These mattresses range from $100 to $220.

Why were they recalled?
All mattresses and mattresses sold in the United States must meet the public flame flammability requirements established by the CPSC, i.e. 16 CFR1633. Crayan mattresses violate federal safety standards and fail to meet these requirements, pose a risk of potential serious injury or death from fire hazards. However, no incidents or harms have yet.
What should you do?
The first step is to stop sleeping on the recalled mattress immediately and contact Crayan mattress for a refund. According to CPSC, you need to “mark the mattress permanently with the word “memories” on the white top panel.” Submit a photo of the mattress to the company’s email at [email protected] to confirm your purchase, and you should then refund it in full.
