Authorities and local reports said a California nudist was accused of killing neighbors, chopping them off and drowning their West Hutton, who allegedly laughed at him with a $1 hot dog.

Redlands police announced the arrest of 62-year-old Michael Sparks – a neighbor who has been missing for five days last August.

They found the suspect at his home in Olive Dell Ranch, known as “Family Friendly” RV Park and a famous Southern California nudist resort. A corpse dog warned police officers in a bunker under the house, where they recovered two bodies, dismembered, and stored in plastic bags.

The victim was Daniel Menard, 79, who suffered from dementia, his 73-year-old wife, Stephanie.

Investigators had to evacuate the scene because they feared it would be in trouble. They return with heavy equipment and collect more evidence.

Redlands Police Chief Rachel Tolber told reporters last year that Sparks tried to shoot before being captured but the gun made a mistake.

The dog hugged, still without any blame.

According to the news telegraph, Redlands detective Thomas Williams testified at a preliminary hearing this week that he shared details about the killing with prison thieves who warned the authorities.

“He said Mr. Sparks told him that the incident originated from the hot dogs he bought for him by Daniel Menard,” the newspaper said. “He said Mr. Sparks felt that the hot dog was a jab at him, which made him feel like he had only one dollar hot dog, and that was what got him away that day.”

Sparks is accused of using rakes, garden ho and hammer to kill the neighbor, then dismember the body and hide the body in a plastic bag in his bunker. The informant also claimed that he admitted to drowning hugs and left her body for the coyote to eat.

According to court documents, 11 witnesses testified at the hearing, and the evidence included photos of the crime scene and text between the sparks and the three witnesses.

In one photo, a photo taken by the news telegraph in court, Sparks allegedly wrote to a friend: “Chopped my neighbor. Don’t know I’m on me.”

According to the newspaper, during the stalemate before Sparks’ arrest, responders asked him where Maynard was and if he needed help.

Detective Williams testified: “He replied that they were fragments.”

Other witnesses said Sparks didn’t get along with Menards.

They allegedly raised controversy over noisy backup generators, tree pruning and hot dogs.
