Yes, that light show comes from SpaceX launch

SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket Monday night, again creating a light show for Southern California even hundreds of miles away.

The company released a launch of Rocket on X, which was transported into orbit from the Vandenberg Space Force Base in Santa Barbara County.

According to Space.com, the Rocket rose from its launch pad at California base at 8:36 p.m. and reached low-Earth orbit about 8.5 minutes later.

The company said it was the third flight of the first phase of the mission booster, which after separation would allow the “I certainly still love you” drone ship to berth in the Pacific.

SpaceX is known for its highly visible steam paths and its sudden boom.

Last month, loud bombing and rattle were reported in vast areas of the region last month due to the booming sound of SpaceX cargo ships.
