CBS news sources said Trump opposed Israel’s plan to kill Iran’s supreme leader.

President Trump opposes the recent Israeli plan to kill Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

A U.S. official told CBS News that Israelis had a chance to assassinate Khamenei, and Mr. Trump communicated that it was not a good idea to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. They say that since Israel initiated one, a conversation between Netanyahu and Mr. Trump has taken place A massive offensive against Iran last week.

Reuters first reported Mr Trump’s rejection of the proposal.

In an interview with Fox News on Sunday, Netanyahu did not directly confirm or reject Reuters’ report when asked.

“There are a lot of false reports about dialogue that never happened and I won’t get into that,” he said. “But I can tell you, I think we’re going to do what we need to do. We’re going to do what we need to do, and I think America knows what’s good for America and I just won’t be involved.”

Mr. Trump has not commented publicly. On Sunday, he issued a clear warning to Iran to point out retaliation against our goals in the Middle East.

Hours later, Mr. Trump seemed to predict that “Iran and Israel should reach an agreement and will reach an agreement.”
