Abbott Elementary School Celebrity and creator Quinta Brunson is back Saturday Night Live This week, the popular “traffic dispute” sketch was restored from her 2023 debut.

In the sketch, Brunson and Mikey Day play strangers stuck on the ferry, and Day’s character initiates trivia due to bad parking work. Starting with tense communication, it is quickly broken down into a chaotic pantomime, with both characters expressing their anger through exaggerated gestures.

Chloe Fineman plays Day’s daughter, trying to support her father, but ultimately confuses them and makes them both worse.

The sketch ends with a surprise cameo by “Weekend Update” co-host Colin Jost, who tries to uninstall the actual Staten Island Ferry. In 2022, Jost and Pete Davidson purchased the retired ship for $280,000. After that, Jost described it as the “sillyest purchase” he has ever made.
