Israeli Air Force strikes Hezbollah targets in Beirut
An Israeli Air Force attacked a building in the outskirts of the Lebanese capital on Sunday night, a military spokesman said.
He said the building was used to store precision missiles belonging to pro-Iranian Hezbollah militias, adding that the storage of missiles was flagrantly a violation of the agreement between Israel and Lebanon.
Air strikes warned after Israeli forces warned the population in the Arabic-strike area.
According to initial reports in Lebanon, no one was killed in the attack, despite extensive damage to the property.
According to Israeli media reports, this is the third Israeli air strike in Beirut since the ceasefire in Lebanon took effect in November last year.
Also on Sunday, the Israeli military reported that a Hezbollah official was killed in southern Lebanon, one in a drone attack. The military said the man has been pushing for Hezbollah’s attempt to rebuild militia buildings in the area.
