Abrams, a former Democratic leader of the Georgia Legislature and a nationally renowned voting advocate, barely lost to the current Goff. Brian Kemp in the 2018 governoral election. She lost nearly 8 points to Kemp in the 2022 rematch.
Popular Conservative Governor Kemp has been appointed limited to seek reelection in 2026. The Cook Political Report is a political obstacle to the highest party, and the race to succeed Kemp on the battlefield will be “abandoned” – a race that has been acquired in Peach State that may be competitive.
Georgia has followed national trends in the past three presidential elections, with President Donald Trump all at the top. When Trump won in 2016 and 2024, former President Joe Biden won Georgia in 2020.

Abrams is a writer who has published several novels under a pseudonym. Her recent book, Upgrade: Rise beyond Hidden Powers Stop Your Business,” Published last year. She hosts a weekly podcast “need to assemble.”
