It’s time to change Patrick Mahomes.
Back in February, after years of signature curly Mohawks, Mahomes changed it by shortening the top by a ton and fading the sides in a simple cut style.
Dejuan Bonds, a barber at Mahomes, said he thought the “frustration” started, but Mahomes said he actually maintained his appearance due to superstition.

“I’ve wanted to do it for a while, but it’s one of the superstitions. I’ve been winning the Super Bowl, which is a good thing, but I don’t want to cut my hair when I do it.”
But whether they win another Lombardy trophy or not, it’s time to change it anyway.
“I told everyone during the season that if we win or lose, I’ll get a haircut like that if we win or lose three games in a row. I’m so excited. I’ve watched some videos from the past year and I can’t believe all of you let me keep that diaper’s hair for a long time, just like I’m going to be like short hair now, and I’m going to keep that moving forward.”

Eight years ago, Mahomes was preparing to take the NFL draft with his old look. The 10th pick in the 2017 NFL Draft reflects his draft day, which he admits he is “tough”.
“I’m so happy. I’m actually throwing with some people, and we’re so happy to be able to spend it with the people I grew up with, and the people who believe in me. It’s not a reminder of the people who can be selected by the Chiefs and my team, I want and the number 10 I want, it’s an exciting day and I remember everything about golf.
