Democrats struggle with oxygen, accuse the media – Some think AOC is the answer

Harris returns to politics, Dems Eye AOC 2028
Dana Perino, co-host of the American Newsroom, joined Fox & Friends Weekend to make Kamala Harris a headline DNC fundraiser and increasingly speculate on who might lead the Democratic Party in 2028.
Jim Clyburn is tearing the media.
The Democratic Congressman actually handed over Joe Biden’s nomination to Joe Biden in 2020.
“I think the message from the Democratic Party is a good message,” South Carolina lawmaker told MSNBC’s Ali Velshi. “I’m going to say that we have to rely on the media to deliver it.”
Let me stop there. The party’s approval rating is in the toilet – it’s not the media’s fault. The party lost every swing country of Donald Trump in November – it’s not the media’s fault.
Currently, Democrats don’t have clear leaders – again, it’s not the media’s fault.
Schumer sinks, AOC soars in new polls as liberal voters demand more difficult
“If we had the Washington Post, then think of this confused dictator, and we have other media entities that seem to push the narrative, which will attract their newspapers or televisions to their televisions, rather than really being fair hearings or reports to us,” Clebourne said.
“I want someone outside of the audience to accept our words because my message will be very, very coherent. It will be very shocking. However, I think everyone will understand if they will hear it.”
Sorry to break it down to a respected MP, but carrying water to someone he calls “want to be a dictator” is not the media job. You and your colleagues can only do this by going out and making news.

At the same time, everyone already hates us. So it’s not surprising that both the left and the right are slamming our business.
I mean, Joe Biden has barely spoken to reporters—even in Super Bowl interviews—and now we know why.
Bill Maher says despite the recent hype
Gavin Newsom apparently ran for president in 2028 – he promoted news by appearing on Fox and the right-wing podcast. This shows that he is willing to participate in the other party.
Newsom told The Hill: “I don’t know what the party is. I’m still working on it.”
He also let the California White House pay tariffs.
The current buzz is about AOC running for president. It seems far-fetched – not because she used to be a bartender, which gave her street credibility, but because of her liberal records.
However, she and Bernie Sanders have attracted a large crowd around the country, which feels like it’s passed down from generation to generation – an image captured on Sunday’s Washington Post homepage.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez now works with the party’s leadership after she became a rebel.
Poller Nate Silver says Ocasio-Cortez is most likely to be the 2028 Democratic presidential candidate
The mountain’s conservative columnist named her number one in the next election, saying AOC “is simply the most exciting person in democratic politics… Yes, she has a large number of critics. But she also has charm, authenticity and the ability to attract a large crowd.”
But even columnist Niall Ferguson asked, “Are the left-wing Latinos in New York City really the best choice for parties in states like Michigan and Pennsylvania to retake the White House?”
Axios said Ocasio-Cortez, 35, has been cheering like a political rock star for the past two weeks, and knows how to make a cash register: “In the first three months of 2025, she raised $9.6 million, more than double what she raised a quarter.”

She will undoubtedly be opposed by center-left liberals like Josh Shapiro, who would stress the importance of winning swing states like Pennsylvania.
Now, it’s a little crazy to talk about Trump’s second term in just three months. Now, it’s easy for a “hot” person to calm down. Name recognition will only take you that far.

In the recent Gallup poll, only 25% have confidence in Democratic congressional leaders, the lowest level in history.
Republicans would not expect fair coverage in the media. However, many DEMs are personally offensive when demarcating critical coverage.

Key points: Democrats must make their own news, not just slamming the media. But hey, we are the easiest target out there.
