Texas Republican representative calls for Trump to prioritize detention centers for “aggravated felonies”

Rep. Michael McCaul of R-Texas said on Sunday that President Donald Trump’s administration should prioritize illegal immigration “aggravates felonies” while defending the administration’s efforts to restore “sanity” to homeland security.
On “Facing the Country,” CBS host Margaret Brennan cited an independent report that 47% of the 59,000 detained immigrants in the United States have no criminal record and less than 30% are convicted.
“These are not the worst situations,” she said.
