Caitlin Clark was named one of two captains in the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game, and the league and Indiana fever jointly announced on Sunday.
The game will be held on July 19 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Clark, the All-Star last season, won the most votes in the league with a record of 1,293,526. This will be her first time becoming the All-Star Championship captain.

Napheesa Collier of Lynx, Minnesota, is another captain, who will be picking All-Star players in the upcoming draft, which will air on ESPN on July 8.
The remaining eight All-Star starters will also be announced on Monday.

Although Clark has struggled with jump shots recently, she averaged four doubles in nine games this season, with an average of 18.2 points, 8.9 assists and five rebounds.
Clark also became the fastest 350 assists in WNBA history, when she scored a triple-double during the team’s opening victory against the Chicago Sky. In the win, she scored 20 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds.

Additionally, Clark became the fastest point guard in WNBA history, reaching 250 rebounds in her career, and it only takes 44 games to complete the feat.
Clark has been dealing with some injuries this season as she is currently dealing with groin injuries. She missed her second straight game Friday, her seventh game of the season.
Clark’s latest injury was announced Thursday when she wasn’t suitable for the Los Angeles Spark. Then, in the first few hours of the fever, the wings of the first pick Paige Bueckers and Dallas announced Friday night that Clark would not play again.

Fever Play Collier and Lynx compete in their next scheduled match Tuesday. They also had tough tests this week against Las Vegas’ Ace and Spark respectively.
The fever of the season ranked 8-8, ranking seventh among all WNBA teams in the rankings.
