Two arrests at RAF Base

Two more were arrested on suspicion of terror after Brize Norton of the RAF broke into a military plane.

Video released by Palestinian Action Online on Friday showed two people in the darkness at Oxfordshire Air Force Base, one of whom arrived at the Airbus Traveler on a scooter and then sprayed paint into its jet engine.

Two 22- and 24-year-old men from London were arrested, bringing the total number of arrests related to the incident to six, Southeast Counter-Terrorism Police said on Saturday.

The government said it would ban Palestinian operations after the incident of Brez Norton, making it a member or supporting the organization illegal.

Two men were arrested on suspicion of “the committee, preparing or inciting acts of terrorism, contrary to Article 41 of the Terrorism Act of 2000”.

On Friday, police said they arrested a 29-year-old woman without a fixed residence, two men, 36 and 24-year-old men from London, suspected of the same offense.

A 41-year-old woman without a fixed residence was arrested on suspicion of assisting the offender.

The arrests were conducted in Newbury, Berkshire, and all suspects remained in custody.

Just a few days ago, the Home Secretary’s ban under the Counter-Terrorism Law would take effect.

At the time of the incident, the group said it “directly intervened in the genocide and stopped crime against the Palestinian people by “retiring two military aircraft.”
