The method guy says the “poker noodles” character is “different from anyone I’ve played before”

Just when we think Charlie Cale and her 1969 Barracuda finally parked and enjoyed some peace in New York City, the barely BS detector was caught in another mystery. Big Pump, Season 2, Episode 10 of Poker Noodles, Streaming on Peacockfound Natasha Lyonne’s character tangled with Frank “Brick” Bricatino, the gym owner of an unhappy team. Played by Cliff “Method Man” Smith, Brick has the secrets that pile up until they go wrong.
The previous episode brought Charlie to an apartment show in the city and murdered a murder in the building. Episode 10 and she tries to settle down, and despite being usually a lonely wolf, she makes a friend in the kind lady who offers her free coffee, the two sign up for a membership at Brick’s Gym, and things get sketchy.
The star of Method Man, Jason Ritter, Natasha Leggero and Patti Harrison, the latest part focused on the murder of Rodney, a health inspector and Brick House Gym member Rodney. When Ritter discovers Brick’s illegal plan to hang breast milk in the rime, he faces him, which leads to a battle, Rodney’s unfortunate, regrettable murder. I said it was a shame because the brick was frustrated by what happened, panic and then covered it up. He was also a little crying.
CNET had the opportunity to talk about the episode with Method Man before its premiere, and we discussed this unique dark comedy character who respects Lyonne and Brick as Beta. As an additional bonus, we also shared exclusive clips of the episode.
Poker facial characters are an adventure
In addition to his musical career as a solo artist and member of the Wu-Tang clan, Mead Man has amassed many honors as television and film actors, including part of shows like Power Book II: Ghost, The Wire and Deuce. He did comedy, drama, thriller and narration animations, but his poker face experience was different from his past roles.
Is there anything he has to build on the brick character? “It’s just that he thinks he’s actually beta’s alpha,” Method Man said. “The self is a powerful drug. But overall, I think it’s different from anyone I’ve played with before.”
He praised his co-star, describing Legro as “magnificent”, ritter as “the stimulant to work with” and the whole experience: “It’s an adventure.”
His method of playing brick involves seeing the character as someone who is passionate about running a business, even if he is not a great entrepreneur. “The last thing he did was the fitness part, even if that was his life. He was good at it, but he wasn’t that good at it in life,” the actor explained.

The favorite scene of the method person may also be yours
At the end of the large pump, Charlie questioned Rodney and sneaked into the sauna to piece together the evidence. The brick made the brick out and he locked her in a sauna and roasted her to death. He apologized when she begged for her life, and then put on her headphones to stop her plea and remorse. This is the second time we’ve seen bricks feel sad about killing someone, and once Alex Freees Charlie he gets even more desperate.
As he was about to beat them with a dumbbell bar, Brick’s wife Lille called him in a scolding tone, “Francis John Bricatino! What does that mean?” This is another example of the weird dynamics the couple has, where Lille gets parents to their relationship. Brick was in great trouble and began to cry to his wife’s feet when his murder was revealed. He was caught and cried was Method Man’s favorite scene.
“It’s different from me,” he said. “It’s the last day of shooting. It took a lot of time to that moment – I think it’s going to be harder than before, but it’s not hard because by this time I’ve invested in the character and it feels right.”

Work with Natasha Lyonne
Although he hadn’t seen the face of poker before signing the character, Method Man already considered himself a fan of Natasha Lyonne and planned a rampage show (like Game of Thrones, he added). But she herself had a high opinion of him, and he shared that they laughed a lot on the scene, were strong New Yorkers, they were really soft, and joked that maybe they were “the same person”. Praise is mutual.
Received acclaim on Lyonne, Method shares what you see is on and on screen. “She’s very smart about her job, super fool hardworking, and when she shows up, everyone seems to be in a consistent position,” he said. “And she does know how to direct a set – the whole scene. Love her.”
He added that the show really didn’t work without her, describing her as “Uber is talented and sincere”, which, as Man Man said, may be rare in the performance business.
