The star of Cindy Seni’s popular Netflix show “Jewish Matching” is no longer single, but still talks with famous matchmaker Aleeza Ben Shalom and lives in Israel.
From co-service in the IDF to living in Jerusalem from October 7 to October 7, Operation Rising Lion has begun, Seni has witnessed many historic events firsthand.
“It’s a whirlwind,” Seni told Fox News Digital. “It feels like a never-ending wound and we just keep trying to patch it up and then reopen again, it’s very, very difficult.”

Since the Iranian operation began, Israel has directed civilians to stay in bomb shelters or protected spaces for longer. This could be “anxious” because people never know how long the site order will last, Seni said.
“It’s a whole night or a few hours of problems,” she said. “Thank God, I have a safe room in my apartment, but a lot of people don’t, so they have to run and go out on the street with the nights with the kids, which is very stressful.”
Although she says life in Israel now has caused anxiety and fear, Seni also talks about the resilience of the Israeli people, which is her admiration for this culture. Seni told Fox News Digital that people in Israel live their lives not because they are not afraid or stressed, but because they have no choice. As Seni said, “They can’t stop.”
Her husband, Eldad Cohen, is resilient to Israel that has a significant impact on Seni’s life amid the chaos of war and conflict.
“He was a very, very resilient Israel. He went through a lot of things,” she said. “He was injured in the army, he had his own kind, you grew up on the second uprising in Jerusalem, so he had this real resilience that made me really take root in me.”

Another Seni love spreads joy online through her Instagram account “Israel with Cindy,” where she posted short shows, photos and personal stories.
“So, ‘Israels with Cindy’ is really a way to spread joy (the Jewish community) within the community, and from there it really develops,” Seni said. “When this happens, when the same thing happened on October 7, I face extreme hatred or just anti-Semitism. I decided to be in a period when it was necessary to show anti-Semitism and to show anti-Semitism and try to lose humanization in a long time, sometimes in this case, I think my platform will be in the need to show hatred and try to find hatred and solutions in a long time humanization, sometimes in this world.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said 24 people were killed and more than 800 were injured in Iran’s retaliatory strike as of Wednesday. Additionally, 3,800 people have been evacuated from their homes.
While the numbers may be daunting, Seni said she has faith in Israel’s security forces and God.
“I am a believer to God, so, I believe we have divine protection. I think, God wants, everything will be fine.”
