Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey, who was propaganda for warning protesters to avoid violent tactics, blew up pop star Lizzo because he apparently misunderstood his words in his viral video.
Ivey warned at a press conference for Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier, ahead of the “No Kings” protests across the country, “You’ll go to the hospital and go to jail. If you run into one of us, you’ll go to the hospital and go to jail and then most likely be bitten by the big beautiful dog where we’re here.”
He went on to further warn: “Drop a brick, bomb or point a gun at one of our representatives and we will inform your family where to collect your remains. Because we will kill your cemetery to die. We won’t play.”
Lizzo seems to have summoned the video in a social media post.

“I just watched a video of a law enforcement department saying they would kill them – kill anyone who exercises First Amendment rights. I’ve never seen anything more unconstitutional in my life. It’s actually shocking.”
She went on to declare: “We do not serve the king. We do not serve the dictator. We do serve the people who protect and serve, our people- our people-when threatened, when challenged, we just need to speak out. We only need Puli. This is the American thing.
She ended her video and said, “I want to encourage everyone to remember their constitutional rights. I want to encourage everyone to protect each other as well. People who are placed in the protection of the people are not doing this. Know your rights and stick to the ’em.”

Fox News Digital contacted the sheriff, who misunderstood how Lizzo seemed to make his words misunderstand. He believes Lizzo refers to his own comments, which have been widely reported in the media.
“Who is Lizzo?” he asked. “I didn’t hear about her until earlier tonight. So she thought it was totally zero for me! She obviously didn’t listen to what she actually said in the press conference, which proved the inaccuracy of her offer.”
He added: “People never exercise their First Amendment rights peacefully [ever] Threats are actually said to be peaceful protests are part of our democracy and we will provide a safe environment for peaceful protests! My warning is directed at violent protesters whose actions will put the lives of citizens and law enforcement officers at risk! ”
