How to watch the green game display cabinet at the 2025 Summer Game Festival

This year’s game will showcase a new display cabinet to highlight environmental reasons and contribute directly to real-world sustainability efforts. The Green Game Showcase, led by a nonprofit, will be held on Saturday, June 7 at 4:00 pm ET (1:00 pm) and will be broadcast live.

Planetplay said the event will be “a celebration of game studios that have raised over $100,000 for globally certified environmental projects.” So far, these projects include a large number of villages, a recycled garden project in South Africa; a carbon forestry project in East Timor; a Hongera Clean Cookstove project in Kenya; and a small truth aimed at reducing microplastics in New Zealand’s freshwater systems.
