U.S. funding cuts in Antarctica trigger climate fear
ITV news correspondent Martin Stew joined the scientists in search of answers to the more urgent climate crisis. Historically, most scientists were Americans, leading the world in this important study. But under the Trump administration, the United States cut their funds by more than half. Former U.S. climate envoy, Secretary Kerry, once said that he “feels very sad for humanity, and that any country is in the way that science tells us about the protection we must take to protect life.”
