Forgot about the liquid glass design, I get all the Humdrum features for iOS 26 here
Apple has previewed iOS 26, the next version of iPhone software, visit WWDC 2025. No, you won’t read errors. It has a new name, appearance, and more. The iOS 26 update comes with many features and improvements I want for a while, including call filtering.
Last year we received Apple Intelligence, and a year before that, the company launched the Vision Pro. This year, Apple renamed all the software to make it look more unified. It may not sound like there is a big deal like the previous WWDC, but if you wish Apple would talk more about software and know less about AI, it’s your year. Instead of getting iOS 19, Apple released iOS 26. Typically, new versions of iOS are released in the fall, but smaller updates are available in the next spring and summer. So iOS 26 is about the fact that it will get a smaller update in 2026.
The biggest update is not an iOS name change. It is liquid glass, a design overhaul that increases transparency and is designed to reduce interference. However, some people’s instant responses are bad for the new look. I’m fascinated by what liquid glass sees and look forward to testing it as part of the iOS 26 beta version. However, liquid glass isn’t as hyped as Apple included in iOS 26, such as camera app redesigns.
The theme for WWDC this year is consistency—in terms of the overall experience of Apple device owners, consistency. iOS 26 is a great example because it brings a sophisticated and modern feel to iPhone’s software.

iOS 26 will be available this fall and is now available as a developer beta. The public beta version will be released in July. You need iPhone 11 or newer to use iOS 26. If you want to rotate it before it is released, I recommend you wait for the public beta version, and even so, don’t run it on the main iPhone.
