Vienna, Austria Several people were killed in a school shooting in the Austrian city of Graz on Tuesday, the federal government of European countries said.
Glaz City police officers took it to a school Tuesday after receiving a call about the situation and said they had heard of the shooting.
The Ministry of Home Affairs later said there were several deaths, but the statement did not specify much. There is also no immediate information about any harm or the identity of the perpetrator.
Police spokesman Sabri Yorgun said earlier that the special forces were calling the high school’s special forces at 10 a.m. (4 a.m. east) and authorities were working to outline what was happening.

Austrian media reported as many as eight deaths, but officials did not immediately confirm the figure.
According to Austrian media reports, CBS News’ Anna Noryskiewicz said the school triggered an emergency alarm that was evacuated and thoroughly searched by security forces.
Graz, the second largest city in Austria, is located in the southeast of the country and has about 300,000 residents.
