“Last night, the attack on Kiev with multiple drones, hundreds of drones and missiles was horrible. In fact, an EU delegation was actually seriously damaged in a building across the street. A car in our parking lot was damaged by debris.”
The glass facade was destroyed on several floors and the exterior walls of the two floors were damaged.
Ukrainian Minister of Culture Mykola Tochytskyi said the Russian attack also damaged the Hagia Sophia Cathedral, a historic UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Municipal authorities said one person died in the attack on Kiev.
City officials said at least four people were treated in hospitals after seven out of 10 areas of the capital were attacked.
