Openai is keeping its new AI releases fast. The company introduced it to its Chatgpt platform in April. At the time, the business promised that the professional model of O3 was on the way and that version would be available today.
Both O3 and O4-Mini models are designed to use and use all tools under Chatgpt’s umbrella. When Openai adds the “Pro” name to the model, it is a version that has been built to take longer answer queries to provide better, more accurate responses. “We recommend using it for issues where reliability is more important than speed, and waiting a few minutes is worth the tradeoff,” O3-PRO’s release notes. In shared test evaluation, O3-Pro offers better benchmarks than O3 and O1-Pro options.
There are some limitations on other CHATGPT services that O3-Pro can use. Image generation and canvas are not supported, so users need to move to different models for these functions. O3-Pro is available today for ChatGpt Pro and team users, while enterprise and EDU customers will access this option next week.
