Leaf Golf Virginia: Phil Mickelson hits incredible shot

Phil Mickelson showed him the golf world he still has in Sunday’s LIV golf game.

This is one of the best shots of LIV Golf’s 2025 season. Mickelson nailed in seventh place when he nailed the seventh shot. He finished with 13 shots in the game and tied for fourth place with Thomas Pieters, Bryson DeChambeau and Bubba Watson.

Hyflyers GC of Mickelson’s team is the captain, ranking eighth under Mickelson’s score with Andy Ogletree, Brendan Steele and Cameron Tringale.

Joaquin Niemann won the tournament and scored 15. Graeme McDowell and Anirban Lahiri tied for second place, with a low hit rate of 14.

Neiman has four wins this season and left Virginia with a championship lead. DeChambeau is behind him. Jon Rahm, Sergio Garcia and Lucas Herbert ranked in the top five.

Mickelson is 11th in the standings, even though he missed his first game of the season. He finished third in Hong Kong, sixth in Miami and raced in Virginia.
