The body of Adriana Suazo was found in a wooded area in Milton, Massachusetts, exacerbated New England’s growing concern about unexplained deaths in the area that have not been explained in recent months.
Suazo, a 21-year-old Boston resident, found a passerby in Milton, Massachusetts at around 11:45 a.m. Sunday, June 1, from a press release from the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office.
The department said there were no obvious signs of trauma and the office of the main medical examiner is investigating the cause of death.
Suazo’s death is the latest in a series of disturbing cases. Since March 2025, at least 13 bodies have been found in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Maine, many of them in remote or wooded areas.

Officials said the body of Adriana Suazo, 21, was found by a passerby in the area of 143 Central Avenue at 11:45 a.m.
The situation varies from dismemberment to the unattended death of 13 bodies throughout the closely-connected area.
Although local police departments and district attorneys continue to investigate each case separately, the timely massive number and proximity have led to public speculation about the possibility of successive offenders.
Law enforcement agencies believe that there is no forensic connection in every case, opposing the concept of a perpetrator.
