MSNBC host takes pride in watching his wife, Josh Hawley, at the hearing

Chris Hayes praised Senator Josh Hayes on Wednesday’s MSNBC show. (Watch the video below.)

Law professor and author Kate Shaw appeared at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, questioning the many bans issued against President Donald Trump and his administration. Hawley insists that prejudice is blamed on prejudice, but Shaw kills his claim.

However, first, Hayes provides an introduction to Shaw.

“I had an interesting moment in the U.S. Senate yesterday and I would love to share it with you, mainly because it has amazing Constitutional Professor/Podcast Host/New York Times contributor Kate Shaw, who is also my wife,” Hayes said. “I think there is Missouri Senator Josh Hawley, who is great in his own way.”

Hayes pointed out that the senators have been defending “the illegal acts of boss Trump.” In this case, Hawley tried to show Trump the ban issued by President George W. Bush, Barack Obama and Joe Biden to him with a bar chart.

When Trump tried to test the boundaries between presidential power and the rule of law, the judge opposed his deportation, federal funding and labor cuts, and tariffs.

“Hawley printed out a big ‘Gotcha’ chart that he seemed to think proved that Donald Trump was a victim of a huge network of biased judges from the ideological lineage,” the “All In In” host continued. “Professor Xiao suggested that there might be a simpler explanation.”

Hayes entered the highlight.

In the clip of the Senate floor, Hawley shows his chart and asks Shaw, “Don’t you think this is a little abnormal?”

She replied with a dagger: “A very reasonable explanation, Senator, what you have to consider is that he is more lawless than other presidents, right?”

Hayes thought it was worth repeating and quoted his wife elsewhere on the exchange.

Now these are several goals.
