There is an old saying that applies especially to Washington, D.C., and nothing good is not punished. And, no one is more hurt by this authenticity than Elon Musk.
Musk is arguably one of the 10 greatest entrepreneurs, wealth creators and visionary people in world history. His business from Tesla to SpaceX is worth more than a trillion dollars.
He traveled to Washington to help President Trump aims to determine the rampant waste, inefficiency, fraud and theft of the U.S. government. Who better makes governments more productive and waste less?
What’s next for Elon Musk after he left? “Just the beginning”
But from the outset, his pursuit of saving taxpayers was ridiculed and attacked by the irresponsible spots of the media, the permanent ruling class, and Washington. He attacked the enormous bureaucracy of many government agencies where high-paying federal employees were taking home $150,000 or more checks without bothering to go to work. He exposed millions of dollars that were sent to social security recipients over 120 years old, as well as outdated computer systems in government agencies such as government agencies installed in the 1980s.
His team found that government foreign aid programs like the United States Agency for International Development could not even tell what happened hundreds of millions of dollars because the funds were swallowed up by the “non-governmental organization” group.
He focuses on all American taxpayers in the way that he is outrageous bureaucrats and contractors serve themselves rather than the public. Three of the five richest counties in the United States are in and around Washington, D.C. addressing U.S. taxpayers in faraway places such as Kansas, Maine and Montana.
In just a few months, the Musk Department of Efficiency (DOGE) determined $160 billion in savings by ending waste contracts and modernizing IT systems, such as digital OPM retirement processes.
He naively believed that he would be regarded as a national hero. Instead, he showed the American public the reward of the Washington Empire to be unclothed was an uprising against Tesla and other world-class companies. Why angry? Because the curved system is so local, and tens of billions of dollars have entered this racket and have allowed all the grafts to create a self-defense mechanism that goes far beyond what he or any of us think it is possible. Putting the muzzle on a fanatical dog is not an easy task.

Now it is understandable that Elon is frustrated. He even caused MEA Culpa because he was “too political”. He concluded that Washington was permanently broken, even incomprehensible.
After all, if he and Trump can’t fix our arrogance, obesity and disrupt $7 trillion businesses in Washington, who can?

In one of his recent social media posts, Musk concluded that the only way to narrow down debt and Washington’s tumors of American life and culture is to “grow our private economy” at a distorted rate, so from a relative perspective, Washington is becoming less and less – we just write off a year as a cost to do business every year.
He may be right that economic growth is the only way to solve our country’s fiscal fiscal policy. The good news is that no one is better than him.
