Republicans ask Biden employees to prove “covering” of presidential spirit decline

James Comer R-ky, chairman of the House Oversight Committee. Several senior staff members from former President Joe Biden’s White House were asked to appear to copy interviews about his alleged roles working behind the scenes to “cover” a significant spiritual decline during the former president’s tenure.
Comer, who leads the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, sent interview requests to four major Biden White House aides — former director of the Domestic Policy Committee Neera Tanden, former assistant to former president and deputy chief of staff Annie Tomasini, former senior adviser to former wife Anthony Bernal, former Anthony Bernal and former Oval Office Office Offices Ashley Ashley Ashley Williams.
Comer said all these senior staff members worked “behind the scenes” and “interventions on President Biden” to avoid the worsening situation he was found while in the office.

The chairman also requested a transcribed interview with Biden physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor.
Comer told Fox News last week that these “unelected bureaucrats” had an overwhelming impact on Biden and could be his replacement for the “de facto” president.
“Today, we call on President Biden’s physicians and former White House advisers to participate in the transcribed interviews so that we can begin to reveal the truth,” Comer said in a statement.
The Republican effort came shortly after CNN host Jake Tapper and Axios journalist Alex Thompson released “Original Sin,” which claimed the competitive White House was going all out to try to control perceptions of aging president’s poor health. The book reveals the cover-up of Biden’s decline and his decision to run for re-election.
Tapper said in an interview with Piers Morgan on Monday that Biden’s aides did during Richard Nixon’s presidency that made his condition cover up the public could be “worse” than the Watergate scandal.
“It’s a scandal. There’s no doubt that it’s even worse than Watergate in some ways,” Tapper said. “The only reason we called Watergate is to make it clear that this is not Watergate – it’s a completely independent scandal, or even worse.”

In the letter, Comer said that while the committee has been investigating covering up nearly a year, “newly discovered details about President Biden’s noticeably decline in demand, a review of White House personnel operations and knowledge of information related to previous administrations.”
Comer said the committee is seeking to “understand who makes key decisions and exercise executive powers during the Biden administration.”
“The cover-up of President Biden’s obvious spiritual decline is a historic scandal,” he said. “The American people should know when to start declining, how far ahead and who makes key decisions on his behalf.”
Recalling the attempts of the oversight committee to subpoena the staff, Comer said, “The Biden White House has prevented these people from providing testimony.” Now, he said, “any persistent obstacle will be encountered with quick and decisive action.” If staff and physicians disrespect his request, Comer said the “next step” will issue subpoenas, forcing them to testify.

On Tuesday, Comer raised the possibility of issuing subpoenas to former White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre and Hunter Biden and Jill Biden.
“Obviously, we’re interested in Jean Pierre … We’re also interested in Jill Biden and Hunter Biden,” he said. He added: “If this trail takes us to the next step, many people think it might be Jill Biden and Hunter Biden, then we’re going there.”
