Most children have not witnessed their parents’ efforts to become doctors. But Dr. Mikhail Varshavski remembers his father, a Russian doctor, who has been dealing with medical school and residency in the United States.

“My father decided to get medical education again in a new country, and it was the second time in his life to be a new language, bless his heart,” Varshavski told Fox News Digital. “I fell in love with this field and I realized it was the only thing I wanted to do in my life.”

Tagged as the “sexiest doctor” is not part of the program, but Varshavski puts superficial attention in ways that provide health information to millions.

Varshavski’s family immigrated from Russia to the United States at the age of six, seeking a better life. However, the transition brings challenges.

“We have to restart our lives from scratch,” he said. His mother, a PhD professor of mathematics, swept the floor to pay the bills, while his father (who was a doctor from his home country) repeated the difficult process and became a doctor again.

Varshavski followed closely in his father’s footsteps, completing an accelerated seven-year merged course for the Bachelor of Life Sciences at the New York Technical College and a PhD in Osteotherapy Medicine.

Varshavski said he also established a follower on Instagram, which he then began reside in 2014. Then there is “15 Minutes of Fame”.

BuzzFeed published an article in August 2015 titled “Well, you really need to see this hot doctor and his dog”, a compilation of Valschafsky and his husky Instagram photos. People magazine was called “the most sex doctor” in November 2015.

The surface spotlight attracted Varshavski. at first.

He recalled thinking at that time. “I want to educate people. I want to celebrate health care. I want to provide good information there.”

Major news media and talk shows flocked to him to book, but the media madness ended soon. He said that if the “gatekeeper” didn’t allow him to talk about topics he cared about – vaccines, nutrition, physical exercise – he would have to do it himself.

He launched the YouTube channel “Doctor Mike” inspired by topics he noticed in his daily work.

“Patients are misled by what they read online or see on TV, often in the form of late-night information,” he said.

Not only does this distract the patient from “work like improving diet, seven to nine hours of sleep, exercise [and] Keeping in a healthy mental state, Varshafski said, “but it also stimulates some “suspicious drugs and supplements.”

He realized that the 30-40 patients he met in person every day could reach more. Now, he has about 14 million subscribers on YouTube.

“I want to be there for patients when they are in the first instinct…to look at their phones,” he said. “It’s like the family doctors in the hospital, when they’re in the nursing home and can’t leave their homes, they’re in bed, they’re there, we’re there.”

In addition to his videos talking about the range from high blood pressure to nutrition labels, and reactions to popular medical dramas or Tiktok videos, Varshafsky interviewed celebrities, medical professionals and political guests, including Anthony Fauci, including former Vice President Kamala Harris and current FDA Marty Maky Marty Makary.

Valschafski said the New Jersey-based doctor can still balance his online reputation with his work seeing patients, most of whom do not consider him a celebrity.

“Those who know me are so excited,” he said. “I can’t tell you how happy the kid I have, a nervous kid goes to see a doctor because this is the doctor they see on YouTube.”

Varshavski will be on “Fox & Friends” Tuesday, May 27.
