The Ministry of Justice says
A Boston woman who has been probation for multiple stabbing victims is now accused of trafficking a 15-year-old man, reportedly missing, according to the Justice Department.
Shakera Pina, 29, also known as “Stacks” was charged with one count of sexual trafficking in a minor.
According to the charging documents, law enforcement officers posted online advertising sex on April 7, with a 15-year-old woman, which was previously reported missing.
Two days later, police conducted a stinging operation to try to recover minors.
An undercover official corresponded to the advertisement and agreed to meet at a hotel later that night for commercial sex.
Upon arriving there, the charge documents state that officers recovered another 15-year-old victim.
SMS on the minor’s phone allegedly showed that Pina instructed the victims how to interact with the sex buyer and how to deal with the money later.
Pina is located in a car in the parking lot where the stinging action takes place.
Once the police put on the emergency lights, they approached her vehicle and Pina allegedly drove the car into the car and tried to escape.
Officials said the officers walked towards her car and asked Pina to open the door.
According to the paid documents, Pina refused and began to delete evidence of her text on her phone.
The officer then broke the driver’s side window of the vehicle to arrest her.
Police accused Pina of throwing two cell phones that she owned.
According to authorities, she had been probationary sentenced to stab a woman in the chest and right thigh several times in December 2022.
The underage victim, originally portrayed in online advertisements, has been taken back and said Pina also trafficked her during the same period, government documents said.
PINA is currently under state custody for related expenses. She will appear in court later.
The charges of sexual trafficking in minors stipulate that the minimum sentence is 10 years, at least life imprisonment, at least five years of supervision release, and a maximum fine of $250,000.
