Soon after, Epic Games released the famous Star Wars Sith Lord Darth Vader after the game — coupled with the AI-backed voice of late actor James Earl Jones talking to the players — and let Vader drop the F-bomb.

A representative from Epic Games pointed to an article on X, saying the company has addressed the obvious lack of language filtering. “We immediately pushed a hot fifty, which shouldn’t happen again,” the post read.

However, gamers are obviously able to capture footage of inappropriate jokes from Vader before solving the problem. Epic requires gamers to report any other issues.

Safety filter stops oath

A representative from Epic Games told CNET that there is a three-layer security filter built into the feature to prevent this from happening again.

Additionally, parents must have their child account talk to Vader with the option of “Allowing voice and written communication using AI capabilities”.

Even the Sith’s Dark King can still be kicked out of the game.

“If a player repeatedly tries to get Darth Vader to violate our setup and instructions, he will eventually leave the team and the player will not be able to recruit him again in the game of that game,” the deputy said. “If we realize or receive a bug report, that Darth Vader in Fortnite, who shouldn’t respond, we will investigate and adjust to avoid future answers.”

Where is the Vader dropped by this F bomb?

You’re most likely missing a window of an R-level conversation with Luke Skywalker’s father – although you can find clips that others save and post on social media.

However, Vader can still be found in the Battle Competition mode of Fortnite in the Southwest Samurai Lonely Zone. Your party can recruit new Vader, who replaces Samurai Vader and has an AI chatbot conversation with him. Epic responds using Google’s Gemini 2.0 flash model.

Since the Star Wars movie, Jones’ family has published characters, and he allows Epic to allow his voice to be used with AI models.

“James Earl believes Darth Vader’s voice is inseparable from the Star Wars story, and he has always hoped fans of all ages continue to experience it,” the family said in a statement. “We hope that the collaboration with Fortnite will allow long-time Darth Vader fans and a new generation of fans to share the enjoyment of this iconic character.”

SAG-AFTRA Repels

The new Fortnite Vader feature attracted the anger of Sag-Aftra, representing actors and voiceover artists. On May 19, the union filed unfair labor practice allegations against the National Labor Relations Commission at the National Labor Relations Commission (Llama Productions), which signed the board against Fortnite.

“We celebrate the right of members and their heritage to control the use of digital replicas and welcome the use of new technologies to allow a new generation to enjoy the enjoyment of these heritages and famous characters in a video game,” Sag-Aftra said in a statement.

“Fortnite’s signing company Llama Productions chose to replace the work of human performers with AI technology. Unfortunately, they did not provide any intention to do so in the event of doing so, nor did they bargain with us on the appropriate terms.”
