You need to make sure you have a good horizontal space that can handle thousands of pounds of weight before putting all your hot tubs there: It’s not light: It should definitely not be placed on an unsecured deck or a raised patio that you don’t want to sag the ground. My location was abandoned, almost horizontal, and the paver could withstand weight on sandy soil. Make sure you investigate this before considering a hot tub.
In addition to ensuring you have enough power (the only real component of a standard 120V circuit or the 240V dryer outlet) you can also install the cover. This is a normal flip-style hot tub head with foam insulation. It comes with drillable clips so you can make sure it stays safe during rainy days.

The bathtub has 12 jets and 4 clear seating positions where everyone can share a common footstep. The big guys are a little tight, but you can comfortably fit four adults in the tub and it’s easy to fit two (and a baby, my wife and I found the temperature was low enough).
The controls are simple buttons on the side of the tub with temperature readings that tell you what the current temperature is, and the setting temperature can be adjusted by arrow keys as well as small spa lights and jets.
Unless the spa heats up, the jets themselves can easily turn on and off, and they continue to circulate the heated water. You can adjust the strength of the bubbles on the clever little knob (essential for hot tub) at the top of the edge of the tub next to the cup holder.

If you are a new hot tub buyer, this is as easy as filling the tub and then wait for the 24 hours to heat the water to the desired temperature. I set the tub to a maximum of 104 degrees Fahrenheit for proper caloric soaking and in mid-winter it took more than 24 hours to heat the tub in 120V Tap-Cold water. Your mileage will vary, but plan for a day or two until it is swinging.
