Back in January, Samsung mocked a new ultra-thin galaxy phone. Samsung still hasn’t lifted the veil from the edge of the so-called Galaxy S25, but it feels like we already know it all.
This is because of the stable leaks, including the latest leak from Winforture’s Roland Quandt (via Techradar). According to Quandt, the Galaxy S25 Edge will be equipped with a titanium frame that weighs just 5.85mm and weighs 163 grams (or 5.7 ounces). This is similar to the rumored scale of the iPhone 17 Air that has not been released yet.
For comparison, there are rumors that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 is between 8.2mm and 9.55mm thickness (as foldable, it will be thinner when unfolded). Currently, the thinnest phone in the world comes from Oppo, including the foldable Oppo Find N5, which is only 4.21mm when unfolded.

Many of these are consistent with previous leaks to the subject, including the size of the phone, the chipset and the relatively small battery size. But the existence of building materials and wireless charging is new to Quandt. In other words, this seems to be a “smoke, fire place” situation, as completely different sources leaked the exact same information about this phone.
Quandt also reported some possible pricing information, which is where things get tricky. According to the report, the phone starts at around $1,400, which will rise if you want more storage. Samsung is expected to announce the phone call at an event in May, but it has not been officially confirmed. Stay tuned for more information about all of this.
