Many protesters protest in Mayday around the world President Trump’s agenda They mark the days of international workers.
French coalition leaders condemned the “trump card” of world politics, while in Italy, protesters on Mayday parade the puppets of the US president and Italian prime minister on the streets of the northern city of Turin.
In the United States, protesters protested against Mr. Trump’s immigration crackdown, and what some organizers called attacks on labor protection, diversity initiatives and federal employees.
Germany’s union leaders warn that extended working days and rising anti-immigration sentiment are removing labor protections. Thousands of banners are moving forward, condemning fascism and war in Bern, Switzerland, as part of a broader opposition to the surge in global intensity politics.
In the Philippines, protest leader Mong Palatino warned that “Trump’s tariff war and policies” threaten the livelihoods of local industries and people.
The image of Mr. Trump is imminent in Japan, where a truck parades in Tokyo carries a doll similar to him, multiple signs suggesting his face. Demonstrators there called for wage increases, gender equality, health care, disaster relief, a ceasefire in Gaza and Russian invasion of Ukraine.
