The latest models feature a larger 7-inch display (from 6.8 inches), the highest contrast ratio of any Kindle (for sharp text and images), and a maximum battery life of three months (that’s a month longer than its predecessor). This is also the thinnest model to date. It comes in two versions: the standard version and the signature version. The signature version comes with automatic brightness adjustment, wireless charging, and doubles storage space by 32 GB. The standard version should be far enough, but if your graduates listen to many audiobooks, the latter needs to be considered. You can use some fun Kindle accessories like a clear case and sticker or cute sleeves.
If your gifter likes to record notes, especially when reading, consider the new Kindle Scribe (8/10, wired recommendation). It’s more expensive, but it’s notepad and comes with a stylus. Kobo Libra’s colors (8/10, wired recommendation) also has a note-taking feature with a great color ink screen.
