Conservative commentator David Horowitz died in 86

Conservative commentator, writer and activist David Horowitz died at the age of 86, according to David Horowitz Freedom Center, a conservative think tank he founded.

The center wrote on X.

“On behalf of David Horowitz’s Freedom Center, we are very sad to announce the death of David Horowitz, the founder of the center,” the center said.

His son, Benjamin Horowitz, co-founder of venture capitalist company Andreessen Horowitz, shared an ituo on social media highlighting his career in the media and activism, including several books he wrote and endorsement of President Donald Trump.

When young Horowitz met with Trump last year, he introduced his father to the president.

“President Trump’s face glowed immediately, and he insisted that Benjamin answer the phone immediately,” the prosecutor said. “Hosted and weak, David is still happy to talk to the president.”

The conservative commentator is a Marxist, born in Queens. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University and a Masters degree from the University of California, Berkeley.

David Horowitz’s wife April Mullvain, sons Benjamin and Jonathan and daughter Anne survived. His other daughter, Sarah Rose, died in 2008. Mullvain is his fourth wife.
