Speedrunner reaches the breath of outdoor credit on Switch 2, a console that hasn’t been out yet
Nintendo Switch 2 won’t master it for more than a month (sigh), but Speedrunner has achieved the honor of Nintendo Switch 2 Edition The Legend of Zelda: Breathing in the Wild.
As VGC reports, the Japanese Speedrunner, known as Ikaboze, posted a video of his handicraft on his YouTube channel after attending a Switch 2 preview event in Tokyo. Attendees were able to perform a 10-minute demo with the original Switch launch game, but Ikaboze only took 7 minutes to dispose of Ganon in the game’s epic final battle.
To be clear, this is not any percentage of the entire game, the current highest time is about 23 minutes. Speedrunner loaded an automatic rack that spawned him outside the Hyrule Castle, where he immediately gave up all the equipment of Link and made a straight line for his long-time enemy. Ikaboze was able to be at the time of the presentation, which made a group of onlookers happy as the onlookers applauded, applauding as the credits began to roll. Nintendo staff reportedly told Speedrunner at the event that they were the first to complete the job wild Demo.
