ISIS members are allegedly accused by Iraqi officials of playing a role in inciting New Orleans terrorist attacks

After officials in the country accuse him of playing a role in inciting the deadly New Year’s Day New Orleans terrorist attack.
But U.S. officials say they have not established a direct link between the Iraqi suspect and the 42-year-old suspect Shamsud-din Jabbara U.S. citizen from Texas, drove his truck through a group of revelers, a few blocks of Bourbon Street, Bourbon Street, Kill 14 people.
Din Jabbar flew black and white ISIS flags behind the truck when he conducted the attack, but ISIS was never officially responsible for the attack.
U.S. officials told CBS News that the FBI investigation into the attack is underway.
“While we continue to work with law enforcement partners, based on information to date, we still believe Shamsud Din-Jabbar alone has taken the attack on Bourbon Street,” the FBI said in a statement to CBS News.
Iraqi authorities issued a statement on April 27, saying that the National Center for International Justice Cooperation has received a request from the United States to assist in the investigation of the New Orleans terrorist attack. The suspect was found to be a member of the ISIS Foreign Operations Office, the statement said.
U.S. authorities say Din Jabbar rented a white Ford pickup truck in Houston and drove to New Orleans for an attack. He died in a gunfight with police after hitting a truck into the crowd early on January 1.
Before the attack, he posted a video to social media showing that he was inspired by ISIS and expressed his desire to kill.
