DEA raids Colorado Springs Underground Club, arresting more than 100 illegal immigrants

More than a hundred illegal immigrants were detained in a massive raid at an underground nightclub in Colorado Springs, federal authorities announced Sunday that “frequently visited by TDA and MS-13 terrorists.”

The Rocky Mountain Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) led a multi-agency operation early Sunday morning and arrested 114 illegal immigrants on a venue that included more than 200 people.

The DEA said authorities found drugs including pink cocaine, as well as evidence of prostitution and multiple guns during the surgery.

“@DHSGOV has detained over 100 illegal foreigners,” Dea Rocky Mountain said in a post on Sunday X. “Drugs and weapons have also been occupied in this underground nightclub in Colorado Springs.”

Attorney General Pamela Bondi praised the operation, which included 300 officials, including the FBI and alcohol, tobacco, guns, guns and explosives (ATF).

“This morning, @Deahq arrested more than 100 illegal foreigners in an underground nightclub frequented by TDA and MS-13 terrorists,” Bondy said in an article on X.

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Homeland Security Investigation, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office and the Colorado Springs Police Department were also involved.

Denver 7 reported that DEA Acting Chief Executive Derek Maltz had previously said Colorado had become “the ground zero of some of the most violent criminals in the United States”, including the leader of Tren de Aragua.

The media quoted Maltz as citing Maltz, and Colorado’s loose immigration policies also helped TDA use as a “command and control” center for human and drug trafficking.

Many people expected to be detained in Sunday’s raids are expected to face federal immigration charges, according to DEA Rocky Mountain. At least two people were also arrested on existing warrants, Bondy said.

“#DEA Partners and @DHSGOV (illegal) place customers on buses for processing and may eventually deport them,” Dea Rocky Mountain said.

Special DEA Rocky Mountain Agent Jonathan Pullen told multiple media that about twelve active members were also found at the club. Service members are within the club as customers or in armed security.

“I think everybody who comes into the nightclub at 3 a.m. knows what they are entering,” Pullen told Denver 7. [Criminal Investigation Division]. They were on the scene with us and they were partners in this survey. ”

DEA Rocky Mountain confirmed to Fox News that the active-duty military personnel found by the club have been detained so far and have not been arrested yet.

“Colorado Springs woke up this Sunday morning to a safer city,” Pullen said in a news briefing to local stores.

“As we approached him in the office for 100 days, @potus trump’s instructions made the United States safe again are achieving results!” Bundy said on X.

Colorado Springs Police Chief Adrian Vasquez said the department participated in an operation to “simply address criminal violations” that affected community safety and was authorized to enforce immigration enforcement under state laws.

“I want to make it clear that the responsibility of the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is to investigate criminal activities and to conduct arrests when appropriate. This operation is the result of months of investigations into serious crimes in our community,” Vasquez said. “Although investigations are underway, arrests are expected. The CSPD is aware that our federal partners have detained multiple people during the operation for suspected violations of immigration.”
