Russia’s attack on Kiev may have used North Korean missiles

Kiev (DPA-Russia is believed to have used ballistic missiles of North Korean origin in the attack on Kiev, killing at least 12 people on Thursday.

“If missile production is confirmed in North Korea, it will further demonstrate the criminal alliance between Russia and Pyongyang,” Zelensky wrote on Telegram.

Ukrainian intelligence agencies are currently verifying these details, and the origin of the missile is still considered a preliminary assessment.

According to local authorities, the integrated drone and missile attacks hit the Ukrainian capital in the early morning, killing at least 12 people and injuring about 90 people.

Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko said at least six children were the dead.

South Korean military leadership said earlier this year that North Korea has sent thousands of troops to Russia to fight in the Ukrainian war.
